700 Valve lash Valve adjustment

Need serious help getting ready to do a valve adjustment on my Arctic Cat 700 HDX.

1. It wont start all the time, missis when idles, got spark and its hot, plenty of battery, seems to have a little bit of loss of power.

2. pulled plug to check spark, got spark motor turned over easily with spark plug out, put plug in and motor would not turn over, takes awhile when you do get it to crank to finally fire then it seems to run fine with a bit of miss in the idle and slight power loss, not like the day i bought it
It finally has 1000 miles on it and this is why I believe it needs an adjustment

Any info would be helpfull
