Brake Cable rubbing on tires HELP!
New Poster here! I just did my introduction post and now I have a question I hope you all could help me with!
I just bought a used 2007 Prowler 650 H1, everything is great with the machine, runs, drives, has been maintained; the only issue is that the kid I bought it from put some oversized tires on the rig and showed me that on the left front side that the brake cable some times catches/ rubs on the tires. He currently has the cable pulled back inside with zip ties to keep it from extending out to far and causing further conflict between the cable and the tire.
My question is: is there a way to reroute the cable, shorten it, or prevent this from happening? I know the obvious thing would be to put the OEM tires back on but man I would like to avoid spending more money on tires when the ones on it are fine, plus he doesn't have them. I am not looking to go racing with the thing, just want it to get me further back into Elk Country!
Thank you so much for the help!
