Parking Brake

I have an old 2009 Prowler 700 XTX, the foot pedal parking brake has been a royal pain to say the least! I ran across a parking brake assembly on ebay that was designed for a RZR, the handle and bracket was 58.00 dollars plus free shipping. Being there was no suitable place to mount the bracket, I used a piece of 1" DOM as a spreader bar, and welded the bracket to that. The handle is an over center design that depresses the brake pedal as it is applied. This set up locks all 4 wheels, and is very easy to operate. Spreader bar is bolted in the front roll bar just below the dash. I can also padlock it for security if needed. I notched the dash in the center area to slide the bar in. I do plan on welding the bar in after using it for awhile. All told I have about 75.00 dollars invested. Still uses the stock Dash mounted parking brake warning light!
