What are you using for intake mods?

The factory intake boots, box and tubes look VERY small for an engine this large. What are you guys using? Does anybody sell something? Are you fabbing up your own setup? I'd like to find something that still fits under the stock engine shroud.

I have a PCV, auto tune and a pipe coming.......like to complete the big 3....

Well, got a case of the stupids and bought an XTZ!

Performance filters are really noisy due to air turbulence because of its free flow design. With oem filters they are significantly quieter but there is air restriction. I guess aftermarket box can lessen the noise but not as oem box can produce.

Most of your noise is coming from your duct work, going to a aftermarket intake will only make it worse.2010 and newer prowlers have a insulated dust cover behind the seat which helps a lot.

Yes it does but you get the most sound reduction installing the 2010 dust/sound shield for a 2010 Prowler
