The only thing that I would foresee to give you any trouble would be...

Intake boot where bolts to cylinder. Is it the same pattern would your intake boot bolt up to the 700 cyl?

And may have some motor mount bushing's to get.

I did a old 650 to a new 650 and had to get new bushings for the new style engine case.

I don't think it isn't nothing a guy could not work around.
I don't think you will gain a whole lot going to the 700 unless you put the efi system on it.

I put a 1000cc in my 650.
And that is a noticeable power increase!
