2011 xtz 1000 burst into flames

my wife and kids and i were out for a ride tonight.We stopped to wait for our boys on there quads.The prowler did a big backfire and burst into flames.My wife was covered in fire from what i could see and she was the passenger.I was able to get her out and to the ditch and she is all good.The flames shot out from in between the seats and the motor cover.Anyone else heard of this.It had 421 km's on it and was completely stock.cheers Tom
