I just bought an 07 prowler xt. When cold it is hard to start, seemed like it was not getting any choke. I turned the automatic choke a little and now it starts better.
Can someone tell me when standing on the passenger side, when looking at the auto choke what clock setting is the choke wire (where it enters the choke device)? It was originally at about 11 o'clock and I turned it to 9 o'clock and that seemed to help, is that about the right spot?

I have an 08 650 and had the same problem. my dealer said to take seats and center consol off and on left side of carb is a primer.hit this 5 or 6 times and it should start. if not prime it more. its a pain but it works with mine
