Can I Get a New Engine /Trans mission Completete?

I have a 2008 650 XT with a transmission my sister puked. Can I get a new complete engine/transmission assembly. I see the complete engine listed in the online parts listings, but I don't know if that included the transmission components.

The engines come complete minus the carburetor, not a bad deal. New Engine, New Clutches, all upgraded components, and a warranty! Welcome to the forum!

Does it include a starter? Any tips on the removal and reinstall? Relatively straightforward process?

I think the starter is also included. You can download a free manual at K&T lawn and garden equipment. Pretty straightforward project. Just bag and tag all of the parts for re-install, and you should be fine!

Usually they sell it by parts, but some do offer the whole engine and tranny assembly.

Thanks. I have a friend coming by in 3 weeks or so to take a look. BTW, your post on a manual was great. You give good advice.

It sounds like your bevel gears are shot. Fairly inexpensive parts, but lot of labor to replace.
