The front R.H. drive axle on my 2010 XTX 700 needs replacing as a result of severe damage. Despite all pulling, prodding, tension, puller, hammering, make shift slide hammer, it would not pull out or release from front differential. So cut the boot, removed bearing and now I'm just left with the original shaft casing. (which is white in color ...heard a story that there is a difference and "white casings" have a secondary lock mechanism???) However now I'm left with the original shaft casing (housing) firmly embedded in the diff. The manual states using a slide hammer but we did that to no avail. Any tricks or methods to remove would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for your input.
