I cant fing a front gear case for my 650 prowler can i use a gear case from a 650 4 wheeler? will the axle spines line up any suggestions?

The parts book show different parts numbers, so it would be a gamble. Have you tried Powersportsnation.com? They have many used parts available. Keep in mind that Prowlers came with different gearsets for 650, 700, and the 1000, and they need match the model. Gear ratios are 4.0 for the 650, 3.6 for the 700, and 3.1 for the 1000

They do fetch a hefty price! I'd opt for the newer one as they improved the welds on the pinion pin! Still hard one to swallow!

Any internal failure that cracked the case? Not a pretty sight!

Yep, Poor weld on pin.

They recalled the ATV's but not the Prowlers for this exact issue. My brother-in-law got 10 stitches in his head when the front locked up and flipped us sideways!

Little bitty spot weld on those pins! Terrible design, fixed in later years! Several people wrap sheet metal around the pin and welded it in place for a fix.
