My prowler has a ticking noise when i decelerate from high speeds. There also was metal filings in the oil and on the magnet. I am wondering if i should just run it or rebuild the motor?
Sorry for bad news . I had a ticking noise in my 2007 prowler. It turned out to be the oil pump drive gear. I caught it right away and replaced it. Do not ignore it as 1 other arctic cat I know of ruined his head, cyl.,and cost a fortune.
I got a big problem with my shifter now it's no my dining room table.Had the prowler in the garage 5 times .Then yesterday the shifter broke into.

That's what my grandkids call the machine!!!!!

I have a 2012 Prowler HDX with 130KM on it and now it wont start. The display is flashing EFI. Has anyone else had this problem? where is a good place to start looking? pump,injector,etc...
We have a 2012 Prowler 1000. We had so much trouble with the 2011 we had that we traded it in and got a 2012. Now we've had nothing but trouble with it. We love the ride and the power but it's noisy and hot and we've had it in the shop more than we've driven it. It's only got 700 miles on it. Now we can't sell it. We've had it for sale since July 24th. No bites at all. Keep lowering the price but no one wants it. Do you think Arctic Cat will do anything? We've replaced the clutch and numerous other issues. The dealer has been good to fix it but now we don't dare take it very far from home.
Brakes failing:
Just found out about an older recall in 2005 from Arctic Cat on the Prowler XT 650h1. The recalled units fall within the vehicle identification range (VIN) of 4UF06MPV06T300001 through 4UF06MPV86T300781
