Hi i am looking in to buying a side by side.I currently own a yamaha grizzly 700 and want a SxS instead so we can put a rear seat for the kids.I was wondering is there something i should know about a prowler the good and the bad.Its either a 700 or 1000 that we will be getting.Would also like to know how fast is the 700 and what kind of fuel milage those it get.

I just bought a new prowler 1000. and it eats gas like you would not believe. I guess every thing has its pro,s and cons. I almost bought a 700 I,m sure it would use less gas.
A dealer told me that these side by sides use a lot more gas than a ATV.that being said, i,M still happy with my side by side.I did not buy mine just for the big motor I figured if I decide to sell, it the 1000 would be easier to sell.If your not a hot rodder I would buy the 700 its cheaper and for a family it should do the trick.hope this helps. jim
