I'm concidering a new AC1000 but I'd like to know how it differs from a Rhino or T-rex. Other than the motor, what are the big differences between the three?

Nope, not me. I just sold my Rhino and now I'm debating one of these XTZ's.

regarding what to buy in a side by side. I did a lot of research be for I made up my mind. on what to buy.I am 6ft i' and have long legs I really like the rzr s but I did not like the cock pit it was to short for me also I did not like the cab it is to narrow . no storage room these are the things that turned me off on the rzr s I,v had 4 Polaris ATV,s and really like Polaris machines.but the prowler xtz has it beat hands down in my humble opinion.for comfort that is, it has a console in the middle that gives a lot of room between the to people .don't get me wrong I,m not knocking the rzr . but for me I like the extra room and the extra storage . if I was strictly a hot dog,er I would probably have bought the rzr s. but then would be eating all that dust from the xtz in front of me.

The power is the only reason I bought the XTZ , the Teryx and Rhino look better and probibly far more reliable and alot more parts availible I've grew up on Japan bikes. I've had the 06 660 Rhino fun for my wife lacking power for me, I was considering the Teryx Vtwin and more power options
Canam will be coming out with some cool I'm sure, and Yamaha new ride will be more farm freindly I'm guessing. good luck

A few months ago I talked with a can am rep and they will have one out similar to the rzr around Jan 2010. He wouldnt give out much more info then that.
they all have their pluses and minus the xtz's big plus power ..... minus very tippy time will tell

just got back from ocotillo wells, 4 seater, 2" spacers, it was fun around 68mph with the wife and 2 kids on flat ground, about 75 by my self , suspesion worked really well
for stock, 15hp more with long travel and it will be perfect, only two issues left rear axle inboard slit out leaking gear oil out about a 1/4 cup and coolant leaking somewhere up front, I just hope Artic Cat will take care of my new problems,

Temecula CA, so far it's been a positive experience would buy from again, I might have paid a little more then some guy back east, just doing my part buy American and helping the economy on a fun toy
