New owner of 08 650 XT Camo
Wanted to say hi and also glad that there is a forum for the prowler. I have started modding this one. So far purchased a CoolFlow windshield, Dynatek CDI Box, Aluminum roof that is on the way next week. Got a mirror that doesn't work with the windshield (sending back), got a k&n filter that fits 06-07 models (sending back). Next thing is having father-in-law fabricate skid plates, nerf bars, and bars for the bed. It was a mother's day/ birthday gift for the wife and she loves it, so does son. We have three other four wheelers, a 06 suzuki LTZ400 modded, 07 Yamaha Big Bear 400 IRS, 08 Yamaha Big Bear 250. Own 78 acres in Kentucky and ride all the time. Appreciate any advice you all have to offer in mods for this model as I am now hunting for a filter and exhaust. Talk to you later

New to the site. Use my 08 650 H1 for hunting and play. Has anyone ever had a starting problem. My H1 will sometines not turn over after having been turned off for a short period of time. The battery has been replaced. The dealer wants to tighten the valves to reduce compression at the top of the stroke. He is reluctant to replace the starter. His fix seems to me will reduce performance. Any one else experienced this. Also any ideas as where to buy a repair manual-(not a CD). Thanks. Paul
