Welcome any codes on the cluster?

No codes at all on the cluster. I read somewhere that it could be because of a crack in the rubber boot between the throttle body and intake. Not sure if that's it though because it will run fine one day and terrible the next
Welcome to the forum! The crack in the intake boot caused some motors to die prematurely due to dust/dirt ingestion damaging the cylinder. What does yours do when you rev it up in neutral? If it revs in neutral, then I'd suggest looking at the clutches, and one way bearing. Intermittent problems are a pain! Let us know what you find, or come back for more help!
Same thing in neutral. Really sounds like it's choking out. Injector was pushing fuel in a good spray when I checked it. One thing is though when I changed the spark plug it didn't want to run with the new one. Possible the coil is weak or bad????
Check your spark plug boot, they have a tendency to come apart at the connector. The service manual outlines how to check the coil, and also has a trouble shooting guide.
Thanks y'all. I will let you know. If I get it figured out
Hard to diagnose on the forum! LOL Keep us informed as we all learn new things!
Battery should read 12.5+ volts. Try a new spark plug(NGK CR7E), check the gap. Check all the efi plugs. Test your fuel pressure, should be 43psi.
Also search the atv forum for "550 starting" it's the same motor and you may be able to find someone's similar issue.

The factory should show the same support the forum does! LOL Actually I've talked with factory reps several times, and they have been helpful. Hard to get through to them!
Got it figured out. Replaced the coil and plug boot, injector and fixed the intake boot. Running great. Thanks for the help everyone
