I am in the market for a side by side utility vehicle. At the risk of asking a chevy dealer what kind of car to buy----, how do these machines hold up. I have a home in Baja and will be using it to launch a small boat and drive to town on rough dirt roads. Therefore my prioritys are ride and noise level. Am looking at the Polaris, Kawasaki, and Artic cat.
Thanks in advance.

Oops forgot to mention, Looking at the prowler
I've owned 2 RZR's in the past and found them to be very reliable and okay in the noise level area. I now own a Prowler and find them to be noisier than the RZR but they do have a dump box! It isn't fair to try and compare much to the RZR as the RZR side X side is in a total different class with the 800 twin motor. The Prowler I find more of a work type and easy to get in and out of. I guess it all boiled down to the price for me! 12000.00 RZR 10,000 prowler and they will both get you there! Best to just go get some seat time in them.
I would never own a RZR due in part to their frame problems The Prowler inst perfect but I sure love mine.

Joe, what kind of frame problems do they have? I see guy's beat the piss out of a RZR and not a problem with the frame, shocks and springs, well that's another story!
They bend behind the front wheels and it dosent take much to do it. The one that havent bent are just lucky I guess. Polaris tried to fix it I think in 2010 but some still do it.
4200 miles on my RZR's and "never" had an issue other than weak springs!
