I'm going to buy a Prowler tomorrow. I poured over them today looking at everything from the 550 to 1000.

Info: I only use it to putt around and for hunting. I may drive 15-25 mph max. I'm going to put 28" ITP mud lites on it, rest will remain stock. I'm in Mississippi so roughly at sea level if that helps.

Choices:

2009 650 electronic choke, carb model. (best deal so far) yet will it start easily on cold mornings with a carb model? Will it have power to turn the 28" tires in the mud?

2009 700 EFI any comments? can't see much difference other than the EFI.

2010 700 EFI any comments?

2010 1000 XTZ. I think its to much for my needs.

Give me your opinion...

I have a 09 700 EFI & love it. I live in Colorado at 6000ft, & have taken it up to 9000 ft. It still had pleanty of power.

700 EFI would be the best bang for the buck

I picked up a brand new 2008 XTX 700 EFI in the later part of August this year. It's a great machine! LOTS of power, very good top speed (100+ kph/60+ mph), great ride and handling too! I do a lot of trail riding, playin in the mud and playin in the sand. I've just installed a snow plow on it too. I am VERY satisfied with my purchase! Good luck!
