Is the rear rotor supposed to get very warm without even braking?

Did recently change my rear rotor and pads. Can it be that the pads not are burnished yet? Can it be the caliper?

How hot? You can back off the parking brake adjustment to open the pads up. Do you have a service manual? You can download a free one at K&N lawn garden equipment.

if i put on some water it does sputter a bit (hope you understand). that was after aprox half a mile normal driving, without using the brakes.

maybe ill try loosen up the p-brake even more. altough im not sure thats the case - cause it dosnt work at all, even when i push it down maximum

If that is the case, I'd take the cable off the parking brake arm to see if it is any better. The cable may be causing the brake to drag. And yes, I understood the sputter! LOL
