I have a 2009 Prowler 1000XTZ and sometimes it won't shift into reverse. Does anybody know if the shift cable is adjustable and if so, how?

Below the gear shift lever there is a cable with the adjustment there. You can not adjust it in the back. Be CAREFUL, when this happened to mine it was actually transmission problem.

I did not see anything that was adjustable on the shift lever end of the shift cable. I was able to relocate the shift lever on the transmission shaft by one tooth on the splined shaft. Now it shifts into reverse, but it won't shift into low range. It seems like the shift gate needs to allow more shift lever travel???????

On the end with the lever you moved 1 tooth there is a adjustment there.
