Has anyone tried putting the stock shocks off a XTZ1000 on a XT650?
They look like decent shocks and whiole lot cheaper than aftermarket.

Won't fit, mount locations and the length of the shocks are completely different.
My suggestion is go with King Shocks... pricing from $1600 plus shipping on up...best shocks on the market with Fox coming in a close second.

Just got stock replacement kings with ajustable option didnt come with any instructions.

so nobody has or nows anyone with king direct replacment shocks? i wouldnt call them direct replacement it took some funagaling, but guys at king were great.

aftermarket shocks

am looking for an upgrade in shocks from the factory installed one on the 2008 700. just don,t want to pay the outragous prices that r being asked from aftermarket stores. anybody have a web site for something cheaper. dont really ride rough but want better than I now have since I broke the shaft on the stock rear shock.if anybody has something that they upgraded from and they r in good condition post back or call me, 1-760-427-6724. need them for end of month.

I got elka stage ones for the front and elka stage two for the rears coming>Ordered them a month ago built for me and my car. Can't wait going to make a world of difference in the ride.

It will not fit, better have a aftermarket shocks that is design for it.

got my Elkas. Stage two front and rear. All I can say is what a shock what a difference in the ride while my friends are slowing down I'm accelerating. even sitting it is the same hieght front and rear.
