I have an 07 650 Prowler. It is eating the splines off of the starter shaft. I am on my fourth starter and I believe it is more frequent with each starter. When I replaced the last starter while it was off I noticed the gear it runs on has a little sideways movement, maybe a 1/4 inch. Is this normal or does anybody know what my problem might be?
