We installed Bilstein shocks after breaking one of the OEM rears. I have been very happy with the articulation, but the machine sits a bit lower with these (good on sidehills). Also changed the air intake; ran a 2" tube to the radiator support, and installed a UNI filter. OEM filter still in place, but doesn't get dirty. The UNI is easy to change out, and I carry a spare one all the time. Put on the Trail Armor complete skid plate package, which did great in Moab last year, and has undoubtedly saved some CV boots from being torn to bits by the brush. Other mods (home built) include a vertical rack for two rifles in the cab, rack for two 5 liter gas cans and spare tire at the front of the bed, and a full windshield for winter riding.
